In line with our commitment to sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our membership in the United Nations Global Compact became effective in May. This is the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, which develops an annual action plan to help align business operations with universal principles.
This framework is built on four fundamental pillars that support the SDGs: human rights, labour standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. By integrating the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into our strategy, we are not only fulfilling our commitment to our team, but also to the planet.
We join more than 1,800 Spanish organizations and over 25,000 entities worldwide that are committed to implementing responsible corporate actions that benefit both our environment and the planet.
Joining the UN Global Compact means aligning our strategic operations with the Ten universally accepted Principles and reinforces our commitment to contributing through our sustainability strategic plan, "Horizon 10 Objectives."
This commitment guides our decisions and drives us to act responsibly, protecting the environment, upholding human rights, and contributing to a more sustainable and equitable system.
