The ElectroBioSafe project consists of developing a new system for cleaning and disinfecting livestock transport trucks using regenerated water and new sustainable products. This is an ambitious plan, led by our company in the Group, which also includes the companies Grupo Jorge, Patel, Esfosa and Norfrisa, working together with the IRTA (Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology) and Eurecat technology centres.
The objectives of this plan are to obtain regenerated water (at slaughterhouse level) suitable for cleaning trucks, obtain new efficient and more sustainable detergent and disinfectant products, quantify the effectiveness of the systems developed, evaluate the sustainability of the processes, and monitor the implementation of these cleaning systems at a legal level.
In this project we receive the support and cooperation of the "Generalitat de Catalunya" and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, as they promote cooperation grants for innovation in agricultural productivity and sustainability and the implementation of innovative pilot projects.
